About

photoMy name is Rui Hu. I received my Ph.D in Instructional Technology from the University of Georgia. Currently I work at the Workplace Learning & Professional Development (WLPD) of Georgia Tech Human Resources, as an Instructional System Designer. Prior to working with WLPD, I served as the lead instructional designer at Georgia Tech Professional Education, and Georgia Tech’s Center for Education Integrating Science, Mathematics, and Computing (CEISMC), where I created online courses for multiple platforms, such as Coursera, edX, Universal Store, and GTPE Moodle. I also created professional development courses for the U.S.D.O.E.’s Race to the Top program, as well as online learning communities for the National Science Foundation’s AMP-IT-UP and SLIDER grants. This blog is where I record my thoughts and opinions about instructional technology theories, practices and experiments.
